Thérèse Byrne is doing the 2011 Pikeman
Challange in June and is raising money to purchase a much
needed defibrillator for the club. A special social night on
Friday 20th May in the Riverbank is being run as a fund
raiser for this venture. Tickets are a mere €10 and all
club members and supporters are asked to support this cause.

The Senior team put up a brave performance
in their opening championship game against last year's
finalists Kilanerin on Saturday last before going down by 4
points. Despite the defeat, the quality of the performance
gives great hope for an extended run in this years
championship.

Our underage teams have been performing
admirably over the last few weeks now that the championships
are in full swing. While the Juveniles and Minors are now
taking a break until after the exams, the U14 and U12 boys
and girls are keeping the flag flying for our young players
