Minors lose out to Adamstown in
league semi-final
The Minors were unlucky to go down to Adamstown by 1-11
to 3-4 in the Division 2 League semi-final at a
rain-lashed Páirc Charman on Friday last.
They recovered well after trailing by 1-7 to 1-2 at
half-time, with Lee Walker goaling midway through the
third quarter before Jack Ennis converted a penalty with
six minutes left. That latter score brought the sides
level, but Adamstown converted a difficult free near the
end to secure victory.
