Juniors beaten in replay
Having been unlucky to be held to a draw the
first day, our Juniors were hopeful that they could earn a
semi-final place in this years championship by beating
Adamstown in the reply on Sunday night last. However, the
team never got going on the night and having played against
the breeze, found themselves 11 points down at half time and
a mountain to climb. Hard as they tried in the second half
there was to be no miracle comeback and they went down by
3-10 to 1-4

Juniors bow out of championship
Injuries and sickness contrived to deprive the Junior
team of a number of key players for their quarter final
clash with Shelmaliers on Sunday night and these losses were
evident when we went down to a very strong and fit side on a
2-12 to 1-4 scoreline.
