Sarsfields to an impressive away win over Fethard in
Ramstown on Saturday last.
It was 1-8 to 0-4 in favour of the visitors at half-time,
with the highlight being an exquisite pointed line ball from
distance by O¹Leary. While Fethard had more of the play on
the re-start with the wind in their favour, Paul Lambert¹s
goal with seven minutes left wrapped up victory.

ACFL DIVISION 1A - St. Anne¹s 5-7, Sarsfields 3-7:
Windy Páirc Charman played host to a goalscoring feast on
Sunday evening as St. Anne¹s beat Sarsfields by six
points.They owed their win to opportunism against the wind,
as they hit the net three times and only trailed by 3-5 to
3-2 at the break. Brian Moore got a particularly good solo
goal for the victors, but the undoubted highlight was Lee
Walker¹s screamer from 35 metres for the losers.
