Sars Seniors keep good run going

Sarsfields made it 3 wins from 3 outings in the Premier
'A' section of the ACFL when they saw off Gusserane in Pairc
Charman last Friday evening.
We made an excellent start and played some scintillating
football to lead by 1-7 to no score afetr 20 minutes but
then seemed to lapse into a state of complacency allowing
our opponents to get back into the game with six unanswered
points.
Adrian Flynn dominated things for Gusserane in the second
half, but our lads hung on gamely and a Blayne Dalton goal
sealed the victory.

Juniors bounce back to defeat Glynn/Barntown
ACFL DIVISION 1A - Sarsfields 3-5
Glynn/Barntown 0-6;
Our second fifteen got their league ambitions back on
track with a hard fought victory over district rivals
Glynn/Barntown. While the scoreline may suggest otherwise,
this was a close affair and but for a couple of early goals,
the result would have been a lot closer. All credit to our
lads especially Fran Cleary, Fran Hore, Frances Dempsey and
Blayne Dalton for an excellent performance.
