Both our adult teams were in
action last weekend
with the Seniors facing an away trip to Horeswood on
Saturday while the Juniors faced St.
Anne's in Rathangan on Sunday evening .
While the Seniors were
short a number of players on the day, things still
looked good for us midway through the second half when
we led by 4 points playing with the wind and down the
hill. However, two goal strikes from the men from
Campile turned this game on its head and in the end we
were comfortably beaten by 4 points, 0-9 to 2-7. This
was a very disappointing performance and ends our
chances of qualifying for a league semi-final. We must
now concentrate on winning our next game at home to
Kilanerin 'B' to avoid the threat of relegation.
