1979 & 1984 Championship Winning Teams Reunion
Prior to last Sunday's Senior County Final, members of the 1979
Intermediate and 1984 Senior winning panels got together for a brunch
in The Gaelic Bar. Many of the lads had not seen each other for
quite a time and a lot of memories were relived. John 'Stella' Walker
managed to provide a video of the 1984 final which was viewed with
intense scrutiny while press cuttings and other memorabelia from
both finals were also on show.
Following the lunch, everyone travelled up to Wexford Park and
although the result didn't go as we would have liked, they didn't
let that stop the celebrations continuing back at the Gaelic into
the wee small hours.
