Our U12 team were left
disappointed when their game against Adamstown went
unplayed as no referee turned up. They did, however,
play a practice game and both teams played out an
exciting draw. Their next game is on Monday 25th May
away to Taghmon/Camross
Our U14 team also played out a draw in their second game
in the championship, finishing level with Craanford on a 3-3
to 1-9 scoreline. Our lads had to dig deep as they trailed
by 8 points early in the second half but a spirited comeback
clinched a draw. They next play Crossabeg in Ballymurn on
Thursday 11th June.
The Juvenile team produced the performance of the week
when they travelled to Fethard to claim a one point win(1-9
to 2-5), the winner coming from Mossy Campbell in the last
minute. Due to exams there will be no more games in this
grade until July
Finally, there was disappointment for a seriously
depleted Minor team when they went down to Duffry Rovers on
a 1-14 to 2-6 scoreline. Again, games in this grade are off
until after the exams so there will still be time to turn
things around to on their resumption
