Second League Defeat for Juniors
The Junior team made a tremendous start to their GAIN
All-County League Division 1B campaign when they beat
the Bannow-Ballymitty Seniors in Grantstown on Saturday
last by 1-9 to 1-6
.
It was a fine display and all of the hard work in the
C.B.S. gym was
evident. Jason Murphy was in sparkling form up front while
Enda Whelan excelled at full-back. The points were sealed
near the end when 'Chicken' scored a 'spectacular' goal
from about two yards out!
