Second League Win for Juniors
The Junior team made it two wins out of two in the GAIN
All-County League Division 1B campaign when they beat
Fethard in Páirc Charman on Saturday last by 3-7
to 1-10
.
A fine first half performance meant we had a 4 point lead
going in at half-time but a strong fightback by Fethard
meant that it was level going into the last couple of
minutes when we were awarded a penalty. Billy Dodd stepped
up to tap over the winning point but inexplicably hit
the crossbar with his effort. Luckily Barry Moore was
following up and managed to punch the ball to the net
to give us a 3 point victory and leadership of the division
after 2 games.
